Steve from Just Cruisn'
www.justcruisintours.com.au calls and has a job for me if I was up to it.
Having just had 30 cm of colon removed with an attached tumor sort of slows one down.
My wife though it would be OK, I really think she wanted me out the house.
So it was off to the Rydges Hotel in Cronulla to collect Sharon. Sharon was waiting out the front either for me or the cigarette break or maybe she needed the cigarette in preparation for the ride.
A neat, simple ride it was to be with little or no traffic once we passed Sutherland and then a left turn past Loftus and into the Royal National Park. The plan was to do the whole park as we had time.
In the park it was cruising time as the Harley just got into a gentle 60 km/h canter.
At Bald Hill we stopped for the mandatory photo shoot then on to Sublime Point and maybe a coffee and cake.

More of Stanwell Park's Beach. |

Sea Cliff Bridge is in the background. We will cross that later. |

Sharon in the seat of power, |
|
I am beginning to think she prefers the front seat. |
|
Maybe getting a little to comfort, so it's time to go. |
No time time for coffee at Sublime Point it's nearing beer o'clock.
We squeezed in a view of Wollongong, no pics this time and a wonder through the gardens at the back of the Restaurant.
|
The Sublime Point Restaurant which we didn't go into as it was nearing Beer o'clock. |
|
Plants in the garden. No, I am too young to know what they are. |
|
More plants in the garden. |
|
There are walks in the area. |

An overview of the area |
Returning to the old Princes Highway to get Sharon to the Scarborough Hotel for her beer.
At the bottom of Bulli Pass its a left turn and heading north as we heard Sharon's beer calling like the Sirens to Ulysses in the Odyssey Book 12.
We arrived at the Scarborough Hotel so its beer for Sharon and coffee for me.
We
sit drinking and enjoying the ocean views and bask in the weather.
Sharon tells me of her job at the mines in WA. Highly regulated but with
monster trucks and fragile humans it would have to be.
We returned to the
Harley for the last leg back to Cronulla, we joined the old Princes
Highway again near Helensburgh. There are two choices, one the freeway at
110 Km/h, a good gallop for the Harley or the Old Princes Highway with a
mixture of 70, 100 and 80 km/h parts.
'Old' rules so it as the old road.
Returning Sharon to her hotel it was time to say farewell and wish Sharon a happy school reunion.
So where did we go?
Equipment: Samsung Galaxy S5
2005 Harley Davidson Softail Deluxe.
A thirst for Sharon
Wax for my ears in case the sirens call was too great. Unused as I just had a coffee.
