Working on getting the word out whilst sharing the love.

Today's ride was a little different as Kym wanted to try out the Sublime Point Cafe which I wrote about on 25 January with my Happy 32nd Anniversary couple story. Our passengers for today's ride weren't even born when the couple were married.

Show Pony awaits the run south.

Our passengers today have been friends for 18 years. Nikki works in Travel Journalism at Australian Traveller www.australiantraveller.com and Bree at Watsons Bay Boutique Hotel http://watsonsbayhotel.com.au .

The planned ride starts with a gentle run to Waterfall, though the southern end of the Royal National Park, past where the close encounter of the car kind took place a few weeks ago.

The plan was a stop at Bald Hill but the car park was full so we continue to the old Pacific Highway and on to Sublime Point for coffee at the re opened Cafe.

Friendly waiter had it in for my waistline. Too late, waistline is already wasted.
Here's what it looked for the milliseconds prior to being devoured.

Buttermilk muffins with Strawberries and the white stuff under the strawberries is white chocolate.
What a single portion on our table looked like.

The muffins were fantastic and the only thing I could think of that is better, was how we got the cafe. Motorcycling, but that's what passion does to someone.

If you are travelling south of Sydney, the cafe is a great stop and the staff are excellent.
Did I mention the muffins?
If the muffins are a guide to quality of the food, we are planning dinner, just so I can share the experience with you and this blog started out as a motorcycle journey with a few side trips not another foodie one. A person has to eat to have the energy to ride.

We return to the trike and Show Pony for the continuation of the journey.

Kym awaits the new passenger and girls change seats.
Nikki's last chance to sit astride 'Show Pony' . Here Nikki demonstrates the technique of leaning in the car park.
We travel to Bulli down 'The Pass'. Once I get my video cameras sorted, I will load a video of going  'down the pass' so you will know what I am on about.

At the bottom of said pass we turn left (North) and head for another attempt at the lookout at Bald Hill via Sea Cliff Bridge and the Northern Suburbs of Wollongong.

Welcome to the Sea Cliff. I took this from the video. I think the red flash is the reflection from the chrome back of the headlight. My learning continues.

Welcome to the Sea Cliff Bridge.

What's that in the fork of the trees.
We arrive at Bald Hill lookout near Stanwell Tops.

Up in the sky, not bird nor plane.
No luck even this second time so we decide to go to the Sri Venkateswara Temple www.svtsydney.org . The people here were so welcoming, both those who work here and those who come to worship. Nikki and Bree went exploring the temple whilst Kym and I did a small photo session of 'Show Pony'.

'Show Pony' is moved into position for some photos.

When religions meet.
And 'Show Pony' comes from which stable?

This is a wonderful place to visit and explore some of the religious and cultural diversity living in Australia give us access to. Kym will be offering it as part of his tour programs.

Festive coming up later in February.
We were invited to have some food they had prepared. Spicy but not overly so.
'WE' were invited to eat. Nikki and Bree did share later.

We saddle up for the return to Sutherland so the girls can get back to their weekend.
Another popular stop for Trike Trips. Symbio Animal Park.

Back to the main highway north just before Waterfall.

I love this sign as the Highway Patrol set up Speed traps just up the road.

Back to Sutherland and its time for farewells.

Bree is ready to go it alone.
Nikki's turn. Now how to start 'Show Pony'?
 Where did we go?
