Crew member Kym had an afternoon job with his Trike with a Japanese family in Sydney.
The plan was at the end of the job, Kym would head south to my place and we would have another try of the food and beverages at the Sublime Point Cafe www.sublimepoint.com.au . This was triggered by the ice coffee and wonderful muffins we had the week prior with Nikki and Bree.
The weather was perfect as we travelled along the Old Princess Highway between Waterfall and Bulli Tops.
We arrived and parked then into the cafe with our taste buds at the ready.
Too late for coffee as the machine was being turned off and the lady behind the counter did not know how to make an ice coffee. Instead we had soft drinks with cake. Definitely different to what we had planned. The cakes were delicious the the glob of cream on the side didn't hurt the taste.
No food shot, as I could bring myself the photo soft drink and cake, as yummy as my Vanilla Slice was.
So the morale of today's story is always check to see what time the establishment closes.
I have since checked the above website. They must have confused Saturday as being part of the week and not the weekend as we were advised, the cafe closes at 4:00 pm yet the webpage advises 5:00 pm.
But here is the view that was still open.
