Saturday 15 February 2014 and anyone living in Sydney will know it rained all the morning and the forecast was the same for the rest of the day and Sunday.
Sylvio from Wild Ride Australia www.wildride.com.au had contacted me a few weeks earlier with a Tourist Ride job in the city.
The pick up point was to be The Ivy on George.
My first question was, "how do we pick up the passengers there? There is no parking and the buses will run over us!"
Sylvio advises he will sort something out.
The week leading up to the ride and no news from Sylvio then some great news, he has changed to pick up point to the Queen Victoria Building Car park. Now that will make it harder for the buses to get us.
So its raining and I am definitely not feeling like a wet ride. If its cancelled due to bad weather we will be told by 2:00 pm as the pick up is at 3:00 pm.
Little problem, I will on the road to the pick up point due the wonderful road system of Sydney.
Sena and phone paired, Kym will call if its cancelled as I cannot read texts whilst on the Harley.
No news by 2:00 pm and I am getting a bit damp from the light rain which is falling.
2:45 pm and we are parked in the dry parking station awaiting our passengers.
A very nice Korean Group appears and we prepare them for the ride.
Across the bridge and down to Kirribilli but due the Sydney traffic, on a Saturday! No photo stop.
So onto the next stop, Mrs Macquarie's Chair. Here we have a chance for the group to have some photos.
Mounted up and we travel down through Woolloomooloo then back to the Opera House to let our new friends see more of what Sydney has to offer..
Jimmy was such a good pillion I had to keep checking he was there.
No rain during the ride but back to light showers on the way home.
Just another Ride with DBR.

So the group didn't want to park with us or was it the other way 'round? |
Not part of our group but it brings a bit of variety to the photos. |
