The Sturgis Group from 2008 were having a reunion at Cabarita Beach on the NSW North Coast near the Queensland Border, so crew member Nix and I decided to make a longer weekend of it and take ourselves to the reunion and then Brisbane before returning inland.
As the group Nix and I are meeting are all Harley riders I decided to see how the 'Show Pony' would go as a pack horse. This is our first big trip together. Will it be our last?
Here she is rumbling ready to go.
A meet with Nix at the 7 11at Berowra, fuel up and we are ready to hit the road.
So here we go. From near silence of a rumble in the car park.
On the road and the journey truly begins. Sorry I haven't yet learnt how to to add music. One day.

This is Nix as we travel the road north.
My shadow races me as we continue north.
As Nix motorcycle touring company is called dTour.biz www.dTour.biz we have to stop at a Cafe called Detours Cafe in Bulahdelah.
A little stop to fuel and prepared for the forecasted rain.
The best way to stop it raining is to out on the wet weather gear.
Oh look another Pie Shop. This was a smoke stop for Nix and for me time off the show pony's saddle.
Remind me Nix to buy an Air seat if find any.
We were good and didn't not venture in. Shame as they make great pie I have discovered from previous trips.

Now its time to do some fine Takeaway dining. You just add a bottle of red to make it fine.
The motorcycles just need a rub down to get rid of the dew
If you have a pot in the kitchen, you can do a quick wash to get the road grime off.
Don't tell the landlord.
Breakfast you we are ready for day 2.
Time to feed the motorcycles for the next leg.
