Today, Crew member Kym convinced me I should go shopping for some new goggle or glasses.
Actually he wanted some Wiley X glasses and had done the usual thorough research.
He rediscovered a company we have used in the past for riding gear being Matador jacket, Matador pants and Matador under jackets. The company has a new name and has a new showroom next door to the old one.
Kym had convinced Nathan Grant, the Sales Manager to come in on a Saturday for the 'Big Spenders'.
As I did not want to travel to Prestons alone, I asked my younger son if he would like to come and look at some bike riding equipment (?) . As he had nothing else planned, found myself with a riding companion.
The location is now called Moto 7 and is part of Topace. Their retail goods can be found at www.moto7.com.au . An interesting website and doesn't muck around, you are immediately offer a membership which is good for 10% discount on their entire range of stock.
So what do they sell?
Wiley X glasses and googles. Wiley X began manufacturing frames using cutting edge technology to bring you "perfect ocular clarity" as well as the "shatterproof confidence". The Wiley X Extreme Eyewear is designed to be stylish, protective and more than a little edgy. The company’s slogan “Welcome to the X-zone” refers to functionality under extreme conditions as well as high performance standards. Thick Shatterproof, selenite, polycarbonate lenses define the ballistic qualities of our many styles. All these lenses provide UV 400nm, total protection from the sun and are die-cut from large blanks eliminating the distortion found in other sunglass models.

The Killer part refers to Matador. |
The jackets in the foreground are the under jackets which Kym wears a lot. |
The Matador Jacket range. |
The plastic packs are the gloves and the pants can be seen in the background. |
Well, how did the shopping go. Kym has some lens he has to take to his optometrist so he can use them on his Wiley X Googles.
There was almost a Bell Rogue sold but my riding companion suggested I wait as I could not carry it home.
Warning, you have to use an access road off Hoxton Park Road to get to 332 which you can turn into when travelling away from Liverpool. If you have to change direction on Hoxton Park Road, DO NOT do a U Turn at the lights. Its some one who wear blue's favorite spot.
