Something I found on the roadside.
The Road pictured is called Short Cut Road. Its located between Bellingen and the Pacific Highway.
If travelling to Urunga from Bellingen and using Shortcut Road it is 15.4 kilometres and 18 minutes by not using Short Cut Road it is 17 kilometres and 17 minutes.
OK, its shorter in distance by longer in travelling time. That is so NSW road system.
The Shortcut Road route currently takes longer as they are doing roadworks and the enforced speed limit is 40 kph.
