When you survive you ride.

OK, so it's a little bit crypt.

Mari and her friends from Christchurch, New Zealand were in Sydney and organised a one hour ride through 'King of the Road'. www.kingoftheroad.net.au

The pick up point was near George Street but not on it so all the riders were in a bit of a flap as to the routes and accesses due to the major deconstruction work being done for the new Tramway.

We arrived on time and geared everyone up.
The plan to ride to Bondi Beach via Double Bay, Rose Bay and Watsons Bay.
We would normally due a ride by the beach but Bondi Road was shown as closed for the Beach Sculptures and we expected heavy traffic.

It was interesting being on the road on a Sunday, the Sunday Drivers were out in force and Mari even commented on them from the security of the back seat. One day the truth will come out on how some many have driver's licences.

Here are a few pictures, Mari took a lot more but she also wasn't hanging on to the handlebars.

Almost ready to go.

Just one one photo before we go.

We returned to the pick up point and Mari is now in control.

Will she let go?

One last one.

So where did we go?

OK so why the title for today's ride? All the ladies are Breast Cancer Survivors and this was their rewards to themselves on this achievement.

Congratulations Ladies!
