A Spring Adventure with an Indian Made.

The Ride. The first of September and spring had sprung. The time of beginning was upon us. How appropriate I thought as I rolled the ‘Little Red One’ out of the garage. The weather was glorious so all the plans were falling into place and it was becoming time to lose oneself with some mates on a day ride. The plan was simple, meet the mates at Dural in the ‘House of Scottish Decent’, and head out to Wiseman’s Ferry with morning tea at Spencer then onto Cessnock via Wollumbi. The return via Freeman’s Waterhole and then part company after the final stop at the ‘Pie in the Sky’. This would allow my new acquaintance and I to sample a variety of roads and put test into this road test. I must say upfront, a ‘Little Red One’ will find you new friends when you least expect it. As I remain off the motorcycles and I am definitely getting withdrawals, I cannot wait until October and to sit astride the pride and just go for a ride. In the interim my dear wife and our dog having been taking me for walks. Today's one is from Como on the south shore of the Georges River north to Oatley. I feel like Mao Zedong and it's the Summer of 1934 as I prepare for my long march north. The crew hatch a plan to attract American motorcyclists so we make a video.

The crew has decided to get in a new venture, www.dTours.com What we plan to do is have American motorcyclists come to Australia to ride with us while we share the interesting places we know so well.. Being very well resourced, the best camera we decided we had for the job was an Android phone. Nix bought some prawns (shrimps to Americans). We positioned my Show pony Harley Davidson Deluxe. Fired up the Barbie and got things cooking. I am perched on my Show pony, trying not to slid off whilst having difficulty remembering ALL the things I have been told to say by Director Nix? Kym is there to provide moral support and make sure we are all on track. He could have done the lighting but it was outside and the middle of the day.
